The injured students would be treated in the Shaukat Khanum Hospital, says PTI chairman

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that they would raise voice on every platform possible to have the demands of the families met. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Tuesday has announced to give the families of the Army Public School (APS) attack martyrs at least Rs 20 lac each.

He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the APS martyrs chehlum at the Chief Minister (CM) House.

He said that the injured students would be treated in the Shaukat Khanum Hospital. If need be they would send the students abroad for further treatment, he added. He ensured the parents of the martyrs to raise their demands on every platform possible.

Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Abbasi said that the sacrifices of the martyrs have united the entire nation for a common cause. It is not the time to divide but the time to get united, he added.

On the occasion, KP CM Pervaiz Khattak announced to increase the compensatory amount for the bereaved families from Rs 5 lac to at least Rs 20 lac each. Moreover, he ensured them to meet their demands.
