KP CM, ministers allegedly misbehaved with martyrs' parents
They apologise if they have hurt anyone based on a misunderstanding, says Mushtaq Ghani
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Peshawar attack martyr Haris’s father Muhammad Nawaz on Tuesday has said that former provincial minister Shaukat Yousafzai misbehaved with him while Chief Minister (CM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) manhandled him when he tried to talk to them after the 40-day memorial service of Peshawar attack martyrs at the CM House was over.
According to the details, parents of the martyrs have expressed anger over the behavior of the ministers and government officials during the memorial ceremony of their children. Parents of the martyrs were invited to the CM House to attend the 40-day memorial ceremony of the Army Public School (APS) massacre that killed at least 149 people including mostly students.
However, Yousafzai has denied the allegations terming them baseless. Minister for Information Mushtaq Ghani has said that they apologise if they have hurt anyone based on a misunderstanding. Nawaz came out of the CM House and talked to the media. He said that the KP CM manhandled him after he went to him to talk after the ceremony.
On the other hand, while talking to the Dunya News, Yousafzai said that he did not misbehave with any parent. He had only said that a martyr is a martyr irrespective of age, he added. He said that he apologises to the Nawaz however, he did not say anything that could hurt him.
