Javed Hussain hailed as national hero, #SaluteToShaheedJaved trends
The brave Pakistani citizen Javed Hussain, sacrificed his life, saving the lives of several others.
LAHORE (Web Desk)—Javed Hussain’s courageous attempt of stopping the suicide bomber from entering the Imambargah in Rawalpindi on Friday, has earned him laurels on the social media with the hashtag #SaluteToShaheedJaved currently trending in Pakistan.
A powerful blast hit an Imambargah in Chatian Hatian area of Rawalpindi on Friday, killing at least eight people and injuring seventeen others. The blast took place outside an Imambargah Aun Muhammad Rizvi where an an Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) congregation was being held.
According to the authorities the suicide bomber tried to enter the imambargah when he was stopped at the entrance by Javed Hussain, a man in his forties, present outside the congregation. When the suicide bomber was stopped from entering the imambargah, he blew himself up outside. The brave Pakistani citizen Javed Hussain thus, sacrificed his life, saving the lives of several others.
The daring sacrifice by Javed Hussain to save the lives of common citizens has captured the hearts of many in the country, as he is receiving salutations being acclaimed as a national hero.
