Islamabad: Newborn abducted from PIMS Hospital
Family staged protest at zero point by blocked the road leading to Faisal Mosque.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A newborn was kidnapped from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, Islamabad on Saturday.
The family claimed that a woman abducted the child at midnight yesterday and that the hospital staff was also involved in the act.
Relatives staged a protest at zero point by blocked the road leading to Faisal Mosque halting the route to Expressway and chanted slogans against the administration.
Hospital admin, on the other hand, stated that the incident took place due to the negligence of the parents. However, a team was formulated to probe details.
Police has taken two of the guards into custody for further interrogation.
