Lahore: Missing kids' bodies surface on sewer discharge channel
Muaviah and Tanvir were missing since Friday
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Bodies of as many as two children on Saturday have been found from the sewer discharge channel of Mozang. The boys had been missing since Friday.
According to the details, the two young friends of Fan Road area of Mozang were sent off to fetch breads after they came back from their Friday prayers. None of the two came back upon which the families registered a kidnapping case in the Civil Lines Police Station.
However, the bodies of Muaviah and Tanvir surfaced on the sewer in the afternoon on Saturday. According to the police, the children were playing and somehow ended up in the sewer which led to their death. However, for the satisfaction of the families and investigations of the matter the bodies have been sent for autopsies.
The locals are of the opinion that the drug addicts of the area raped the children and then killed them. The final verdict on the episode would be given out by the autopsy reports.
