Famine in Thar: Death toll mounts 254 in 90 days
JI organized a 'Save Mithi' rally led by Sirajul Haq in Thar today.
THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – Death toll attributed to famine in Thar mounted to 254 in a span of 90 days as three more children lost their lives on Tuesday.
Affected people of Thar have been suffering the scarcity of food, water and medicinal facilities in Thar, Chachro and Mithi for a long time while the government and administration remained deaf eared.
A ‘Save Mithi’ rally organized by Jamat-e-Islami (JI) led by JI Ameer Sirajul Haq was held today in Thar.
