Summary Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said the cases of culprits involved in the heinous crimes will be sent to the special trial courts.
He gave these remarks while chairing a high-level meeting on national security in Islamabad.
The meeting was attended among others by Federal Ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Pervaiz Rashid, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that special trial courts are part of national action plan to combat terrorism and assured rapid implementation of national action plan to curb terrorism.
This plan is reflection of national consensus, he added.
Earlier, recommendations regarding elimination of armed wings, provocative material and terrorist funding were presented to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Strategy regarding return of Afghan refugees and ongoing targeted operation in Karachi was also discuss in the meeting.
