Discussions were not opened to the media

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The deadlock between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in negotiations continued on Saturday while the discussions were not opened to the media after the meeting was over.

Both the parties could not agree over the definition of rigging in the elections.

PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen said that the ball is in the government’s court and delay in resolving the matter would increase the problems of the government.

According to the sources, Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt and the constitutional experts of PTI also participated in the meeting.

While, the government side was represented by Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar and Minister for Planning, Development and National Reforms Ahsan Iqbal whereas, the PTI side was represented by PTI vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, PTI secretary general Jahangir Tareen and Asad Umer.
