Suicide bomber involved in Wagha border incident identified
Hanif (23) of Bajaur was trained in Afghanistan; relatives taken into custody by security agencies
LAHORE: (Web Desk, Dunya News) – The terrorist that carried out suicide attack at Wagha Border on November 2 has been identified by the security agencies, Dunya News reported on Friday. The terrorist has been identified as Hanif Ullah. The bomber was 23-year-old and belonged to Bajaur Agency. Security agencies have taken his family into custody.
Hanif was a resident of Momand village in Bajaur Agency and hadn’t returned home for the last two years. He received training from banned outfit Hizb-ul-Haraar in Afghanistan.
According to sources, investigation has been started after taking his family into custody. Wagha Border blast had claimed 61 lives.
