Karachi: 5 terrorists killed in encounter with Rangers
A Rangers official sustained wounds as result of the grenade attack
KARACHI (Dunya News) – As many as five terrorists have been killed on Wednesday in an encounter with the Rangers in Manghu Peer area.
The Rangers, acting on a tip-off, raided the hideout of terrorists upon which they opened fire at the Rangers and attacked them with grenades.
A Rangers official sustained wounds as result of the attack.
The Rangers reciprocated fire and killed at least five terrorists and seized grenades, Kalashnikov and TT pistols from their possession.
According to the spokesperson of the Rangers, the terrorists belonged to the banned outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and had come to Karachi with a planning of destruction.
