THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – Famine-struck Thar faces the loss of four more innocent lives mounting the death toll to 197.
Dearth of food and water has created an alarming situation in Thar that has engulfed lives of many small children. Lack of medical facilities has put innocent lives at risk while the administration failed in meeting the needs of the affected people miserably. People remained devoid of wheat aid in Chachro whereas the fifth phase of assistance could not be initiated.
Relief teams were not set up despite administration and Health Ministry’s tall claims that is causing a disease-spread.
