Rawalpindi: COAS meets ISAF Afghanistan commander
The affairs regarding Pakistan-Afghanistan border were discussed in the meeting, says ISPR
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Thursday met International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) commander to Afghanistan General John F Campbell.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS met the ISAF commander in District Headquarters (DHQ) Rawalpindi.
The affairs regarding Pakistan-Afghanistan border were discussed in the meeting.
The COAS informed the ISAF Afghanistan commander about the progress in the Operation Zarb-e-eAzb of the Pakistan Army.
Matters of mutual interest and regional security were also discussed in the situation, according to the ISPR.
