Sindh government ceased relief work after concluding fourth phase of aid assistance.

THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – Death toll mounted to 167 as famine engulfed four more innocent lives on Wednesday.

Climatic changes in addition to diseases and dearth have added to the misery of the affected people of Thar. More than 60,000 families have been deprived of wheat aid while the Sindh government ceased relief work after concluding fourth phase of aid assistance.

It has been 70 days that the famine has struck Thar but government mundane efforts and tall claims could not fulfill needs of the affectees.
