Suspected Ebola case reported in Karachi
The patient has been admitted to Jinnah Hospital in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) — A suspected Ebola case was diagnosed in Karachi on Monday, Dunya News reported. The patient has been admitted to Jinnah Hospital in Karachi.
A resident of Malir area of Karachi Muhammad Haroon returned to Karachi from Liberia via Morocco and Qatar.
On his arrival at Karachi Airport, he was retained at the quarantine established for observing suspected Ebola patients.
He was later moved to an isolation ward in Jinnah Hospital after being diagnosed with symptoms of Ebola virus. The patient’s family has been informed about his current condition.
