PM Nawaz Sharif announced reduction in prices, bringing prices to 28-month low

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Petroleum prices reduction notification has been issued and the new prices have now been implemented, Dunya News reported. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had announced the reduction in prices during his speech in Havelian on Saturday. The oil prices now stand at their lowest in last 28 months.

With the implementation of new prices, petrol will now be available for Rs. 84.53 per liter after Rs. 9.66 reduction. High Speed Diesel will now be sold at Rs. 94.09 instead of Rs. 101.21 after reduction of Rs. 7.12 in the price. Light Diesel price was reduced by Rs. 5.39. Its new prices will be Rs. 77.98 while kerosene oil will now be sold at Rs. 83.18 after reduction of Rs. 4.34.

Biggest price reduction was observed in High Octane price. After reduction of Rs. 10.18, High Octane will now be sold at Rs. 106.27 per liter.

Petroleum prices have now come down to 28-month low and people hope to see reduction in bus fares as well now.
