Washington visit: COAS to meet John Kerry today
COAS will discuss regional security, peace and Afghanistan issues with Foreign Minister of America.
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will meet American Foreign Minister John Kerry today (Sunday) to discuss regional security and matters of American Army in Afghanistan.
According to details, a meeting is likely to be carried out between COAS and John Kerry today in which matters of regional peace, security and withdrawal of American Army from Afghanistan will be taken under consideration.
It was Sharif s first trip to the United States in which he has managed to arrange meetings with senior military and political officers.
Moreover, Army chief will leave for Islamabad tomorrow morning.
