Boycott of young doctors, patients had to suffer for three hours.

QUETTA (Dunya News) Young doctors of Quetta did not get their scholarships from last six months, as a result, they protested by closing down Out Patient Departments (OPD) for at least three hours in all government hospitals of Quetta including Civil Hospital.

Balochistan lacks medical facilities in far-off districts, as a result hospitals of Quetta cater to the patients from 16 districts of Balochistan. Patients, who had come to Quetta after travelling for many hours, had to suffer due to the token boycott.

Young doctors said that their protest will continue until they not only get their scholarships but till the approval of all of their seven demands. They threatened that if their demands are not accepted, they will extend their protest and would boycott working at general wards and emergency wards as well.
