PM Nawaz arrives in Nepal for SAARC conference
Advisor to PM Nawaz hopes to have a meeting with PM Modi on bilateral cooperation.
KATHMANDU (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Pakistan (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has arrived in Kathmandu to attend 18th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) conference.
On his arrival to attend 18th SAARC summit, he was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister of Kathmandu.
While talking to Dunya News, PM said that SAARC region can bring development in the field of economy and peace.
He assured to provide suggestions for the improvement of SAARC summit and urged to remove obstacles coming in the path of good will relations with SAARC countries.
He further vowed to maintain peace and stability in the region and desired to strengthen trade block with SAARC countries.
PM Nawaz on his arrival in Nepal has also revealed that India has unilaterally stopped bilateral negotiations whereas Pakistan wants to start a new phase of talks based on mutual respect.
According to details, Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, National Affairs Advisor Irfan Siddiqui and Foreign Advisor Tariq Fatmi have also accompanied him.
Furthermore, Advisor to PM Irfan Siddiqui hoped to have a meeting with PM of India Nerender Modi.
