Jehlum: Teenage killed by Police firing during protest

The frustration of the people intensifies as the hours of loadshedding increases throughout the country. In the latest incident angry protesters set 15 office, fire tender ablaze in Dena near Jehlum. A teenage boy was killed by Police firing while five other protesters were injured when Police resorted to baton charge. Protests against prolonged and unscheduled power outages, people blocked GT Road and chanted anti-government slogans. Protest became violent when a teenage boy was killed by the firing. When rescue teams arrived at 15 office, the protesters set ablaze their two cars, a police van two tracters and several motor bikes.According to DPO Jehlum at least 10 policemen were also injured, the Jehlum Trade union of Jehlum announced shutter down strike against the police firing.
