Levis officer dies in IED explosion in Bajaur
Unidentified offenders had planted an IED at the corner of the road.
BAJAUR AGENCY (Dunya News) – At least one Levis officer martyred and another got injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion in Kamar Sar, an area 20 km north east from Sadar Makam Khaar in District Mamund, Saturday morning.
Two of the Levis officers were on round as usual when the IED planted by the unidentified miscreants at the corner of the road exploded injuring both the officers. The injured were then rushed to the Agency Headquarter Hospital Khar where one of them died succumbed to the injuries.
Volunteers of a local peace committee reached the site of incident immediately whereas a search operation has been initiated in the area.
