Markets would be closed by 8 pm to conserve energy, says Minister Defense.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister Defense Khawaja Asif while talking to the media on Monday said half of the sit-in holders have been dealt with and will deal with the other half as well.
He said pseudo political crisis has caused great loss to the economy and that the regime is being threatened for the past four months.
He further said Chinese president’s visit to Pakistan is being rescheduled whereas they are enroute to instigating various energy conservation projects in the wake of which he had met chief minister Punjab to squeeze the timings of the markets.
In accordance to the new program sketched, markets would be closed by 8 pm, he added.
Referring to operation Zarb-e-Azb he said Pakistan army has almost cleared off militants from the region whereas terrorists have turned to cities after destruction of their infrastructure.
He said terrorism has not been fully overcome but frequency of such incidents has declined.
Khawaja Asif vowed to continue operation unless last militant gets swept off.
