LAHORE (Dunya News) – As the trial in Model Town vandalism case is about to conclude, prime suspect Gullu Butt seems nervous in the court.
On the one hand he denies damaging any vehicle, and on the other he confesses to smashing windows of only two cars.
His lawyer has also claimed that ‘baton’ presented before court does not belong to Gullu Butt, neither has it been sent to forensic lab by the police.
During case proceedings today, investigation officer recorded his statement before court.
Subsequently, the court summoned more witnesses on October 28.
On June 17, TV cameras had captured Gullu Butt damaging several vehicles in Model Town area of Lahore in the presence of police. He was later arrested on the orders of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
