Jamait Islami hosts communal breakfast in Lahore

 LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamait-e- Islami (JI) has arranged a combined breakfast today (Sunday) in Muslim Town Lahore. The event was attended by a large number of citizens.
Addressing the ceremony, leader of JI, Liaqat Baloch said that public rights cannot be attained through ‘revolution’ or ‘new Pakistan’ but through Islamic Pakistan. He said that nation’s unity is necessary to fight the challenges faced by country’s security.
He stated that lofting the turbans of others during rallies is unsuitable; there is a need to reduce political fester to counter threats towards national security.
Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q), Mushahid Hussain said that resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers should not be accepted. He said that efforts for the solution of problems done by political Jirga are commendable and with the continuation of democracy, issues can be resolved.
He further called for befitting reply to Indian aggression and violation at the Line of Control (LoC) and said the issue should be taken to international community.
