PM House does not pay bill, why is connection intact, asks Imran Khan
My connection was cancelled because I did not pay bill of Rs. 30,000, says Chairman PTI
SARGODHA: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Prime Minister House, President House, Parliament House and all the government buildings do not pay electricity bills but his connection was cancelled for just Rs. 30,000. He said that he decided not to pay the bills because the poor are unable to pay their bills.
Addressing the PTI gathering today (Friday) in Sargodha, Imran Khan said that Ittefaq Foundry is still to pay Rs. 50 million. “Had I been the Prime Minister, they would never cancel my connection”, said Imran. He said that IPPs were given money without audit. “He said that circular debt and load shedding remain unchanged even today”, he said.
Criticizing Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari have billions of assets outside Pakistan. He said that our foreign debt is constantly rising because the government is borrowing without any progress in the country. He invited the supporters of PML-N and PPP to vote for PTI for a change. He said that inflation will continue to rise unless Pakistanis did not protest against it.
