Popularity is perturbing: Gullu Butt
ATC, on the other hand, has adjourned the hearing of Model town vandalism case till October 18.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – After appearing before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Model Town vandalism’s prominent perpetrator, Gullu Butt said his popularity is irksome and he doesn’t need such fame that tarnishes the image of the country whereas ATC has adjourned the hearing of his case till October 18.
Justice Rai Ayub of ATC heard the case. Three other police officers furnished their statements during the proceedings.
The total number of witnesses involved in vandalism is twelve including a sub-inspector, six out which have got their statements recorded.
Police officers have accused Gullu Butt of opening fire at the police and vandalizing cars that worsened the situation.
The court has summoned more witnesses on October 18.
