Three Pakistani doctors were killed in a small plane crash in Chicago on Monday.
CHICAGO (Agencies) - Three US-based Pakistanis were killed in a small plane crash in a dense Chicago suburb of single-family homes, authorities said Monday.
The twin-engine Beechcraft Baron crashed in the Chicago suburb of Palos Hills shortly after takeoff from Chicago Midway Airport for Lawrence, Kansas, said Lynn Lunsford of the Federal Aviation Administration.
A Kansas hospital system has identified three physicians as victims of a small plane crash in suburban Chicago.
Stormont-Vail HealthCare in Topeka said Monday that the victims of plane crash included two of its doctors. They were neurosurgeon Tausif Rehman and pulmonologist Ali A. Kanchwala.
Stormont-Vail also identified the third victim as Kanchwala s wife. She was Maria Javaid, a cardiologist at the Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
