'London Plan' has failed miserably: Saad Rafique
Why Imran Khan did not take any of his party men along with him for this meeting, asks Saad Rafique
LAHORE: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the ‘London Plan’ has failed miserably. “What was discussed between Imran Khan and Dr. Tahirul Qadri in London?” asked Saad Rafique. “When Dr. Qadri has admitted that he met Imran Khan in London, why Imran Khan still denies the meeting? Why Imran Khan did not take any of his party men along with him for this meeting? Who managed their meeting in London? Was the meeting arranged by some Pakistani national or national of some other country? When Charter of Democracy (CoD) was signed between Benazir Bhutto (Late) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, it was made a public document, why the details of Imran Khan and Dr. Qadri’s meeting were not made public?” he asked. He said that ‘London Plan’ has failed miserably.
Speaking at a press conference today (Saturday), Saad rafique said that Imran Khan is constantly lying about rigging. He said that PTI filed cases only in three constituencies. Allegation of ‘institutional rigging’ is a conspiracy to weaken democracy and government.
Railways Minister said that PML-N could have secured post of Chief Minister in Balochistan but avoided it under our reconciliation policy. He said that PTI was given the government in KPK due to courtesy. Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) could have formed government in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) along with Jamiat Ulema Islam – Fazal (JUI-F) but allowed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to form the government in the province.
Khawaja Saad said that Chinese President’s visit to Pakistan was forced to be postponed. It is a conspiracy to divide Pakistan and China. He said that Imran Khan twists the facts regarding Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched only after talks with Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had failed.
Saad Rafique said that Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri should return home now as their plan has failed.
