Unarmed civilians get a taste of police brutality

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Islamabad Police baton-charged unarmed civilians over marching in crowds towards the Red Zone under ‎the leadership of their respective anti-government leaders.

‎Police left no stone unturned in an effort to disperse the charged crowd and resorted to shooting ‎rubber blanks at the public, as they refused to deter.

During the clash between the police and the protestors, one long march participant was ‎injured, as per the Dunya News reports.

‎Emergency was declared at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Poly Clinic hospitals, and their ‎respective employees were alerted to stay cautious during such a time of unrest, reportedly.

Medicines ‎have been arranged for two thousand people at the PIMS hospital. The female ward at Poly ‎Clinic has been emptied to facilitate the public.‎

The participants of the march have reached near Embassy road and the Federal Lodges, reportedly.
