Crackdown against PTI workers begins tonight
Police directed to stop PTI workers from entering Lahore, senior leaders' lists given
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab government decides to pursue a crackdown against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers throughout Punjab and police directed to stop workers from entering Lahore, and arrest them.
According to sources, police of surrounding cities of Lahore, like Faisalabad, Sheikhupura and Sargodha, directed to stop PTI workers from entering Lahore. A list of 153 senior PTI leaders was taken from the special branch of the police, and has been given to all concerned police stations. Sources added that police would start arresting PTI workers tonight.
On the other hand, PTI leadership from Faisalabad and other cities have started reaching Lahore whereas other workers have been ordained to reach Zaman Park by tonight.
