The court reached the verdict after hearing the arguments from the both sides.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday dismissed all three petitions against government’s installation of containers to blocking roads in Lahore, Dunya News reported.
The court maintained that placing containers for security purposes do not violate the human rights and that the government has the right to take such measures in order to protect the citizens.
Reportedly, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri failed to submit written assurance of remaining peaceful.
Advocate General Punjab said that PAT workers have committed sedation.
During the hearing, the Advocate General said that PAT workers are armed and are engaging in sedation against the country.
Justice Khalid Maqbool Khan said that everyone has the responsibility to protect Pakistan, adding that if anyone removes container barriers, the law enforcement should arrest the perpetrator and press charges. He said that the common citizens must not be harmed.
He said the court cannot prevent sedation, adding that the law is what everyone accepts. He asked what courts could do if one refuses to accept the law.
Advocate General Punjab told the court that PAT workers have held hostage six cops including an inspector.
Justice Khalid then turned to the PAT representatives asking what kind of revolution is this that warrants snatching weapons from law enforcement.
The court was told that PAT chief has not submitted the written assurance to the court that he will remain peaceful in his movement.
Qadri’s lawyer rebutted by saying that Qadri has already in his speech whatever he had to say in his speech.
