Sialkot: Indian firing at Charwah sector continues on second day
This is the second ceasefire violation by India in two days.
SIALKOT (Web Desk / Agencies) – In another LoC ceasefire violation, Indian troops opened unprovoked fire on Rangers checkpost at Charwah sector in Sialkot today (Thursday).
According to details, Chenab Rangers fully retaliated, silencing the Indian guns. No loss of life was reported during the incident.
On Wednesday, Indian troops targeted a Pakistani checkpost near the Line of Control (LoC), injuring two jawans. A house located in Moza Akhnor was also damaged in the incident.
India and Pakistan often accuse each other of violating a 2003 ceasefire agreement between the rivals who have fought two of their three wars over Kashmir.
Firing along the disputed Line of Control (LoC) that separates Kashmir into Indian and Pakistani sectors has taken place sporadically since 2003.
