LPG prices rise by Rs 15 per kg in two days

The prices have risen twice in two days with a latest ascend of Rs 5 per kg.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Cost of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has seen a hike twice within two days. According to the distributors, LPG marketing companies have increased the price of domestic cylinders by Rs 50 and commercial cylinders by Rs 200. The prices have elevated without any formal notification from the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). After Rs 5 per kg increase in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad, the price for LPG rose to Rs 135 per kg. The rate in Sialkot, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Faisalabad would be Rs 115 per kg. The price in Karachi would be Rs 105 per kg whereas it has mounted to Rs 145 per kg in Murree, Nathiagali, Muzaffarabad, Bagh azad Kashmir and FATA. All Pakistan LPG Distributors Association has called an emergency meeting on July 9.
