Lemon price goes up to Rs400 per kg
Demand for lemon surges in summer season.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rates of lemon has soared to Rs400 per kilogram from Rs80 kilogram in last few days. Amid extreme hike in price, an artificial shortage is being observed in markets.
Though, lemon is easily available in vegetable markets but it is rarely available in common markets.
Shopkeepers term shortage of lemon in market as reason behind hike in its price. On the other hand, the government is looking utterly helpless in controlling the price.
It should be recalled that demand of lemon surges in summer season.
