LONDON (Web Desk) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Monday said that former premiers Yousaf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervez Ashraf and ex-minister Amin Faheem are being politically victimized, Dunya News reported.

He said Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) top politicians who remained on top government posts are being accused of corruption.

Altaf Hussain opposed the move to issue non-bailable warrants against them.

He said bang on their travel is also not justified.

Earlier today, an anti-corruption court issued non-bailable arrest warrants of five accused including former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Makhdomm Amin Fahim in seven cases regarding Trade Development Authority (TDA) scandal.

According to reports, several crore rupees were embezzled through front men in trade development scandal.

FIA authorities termed Yousaf Raza Gilani and former federal minister Makhdoom Ameen Faheem prime suspects. The final challan was submitted at accountability court following which the non-bailable arrest warrants were issued against the key PPP leaders.
