A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani heard the review petition against verdict regarding PM discreationary funds case.

The Attorney General prayed to court to allow the government to issue funds for development and energy projects.

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked that why the government is in so much hurry to issue these funds.

Attorney General replied that this is matter of national and not of personal interest, the funds are required for energy projects.

Justice Saeed questioned “are these funds needed for energy projects or to share among the parliamentarians.’’
