Loadshedding temporarily ends

Power production and consumption stand at 11,000 megawatt.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Ongoing electricity loadshedding in the country has been temporarily halted, as the demand and supply of power equalised on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to NTDC official, rain in most areas has turned the weather pleasant, thus, the gap between power demand and supply reached to zero.
As per the report presented by Minister of Water and Power to the Prime Minister today, power production and consumption stand at 11,000 megawatt.
It is said that 4,320 MW electricity is being produced by hydel sector, 5,200 MW from IPPs while 1,480 MW from furnace oil.
The new schedule of loadshedding would be issued in accordance with the demand and supply gap.
