Lawyer, driver killed in Karachi gun attack, 15 suspects held
Lawyers have boycotted city courts to protest against the incident.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two people including a lawyer were killed in a shooting incident in Orangi Town area on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
As per details, some unknown gunmen opened fire on lawyer Muhammad Idrees’s car near Islam Chowk in Orangi Town area.
Resultantly, Muhammad Idrees and his driver Nauman were critically injured. The victims were rushed to a private hospital but could not survive.
Lawyers have boycotted city courts to protest against the incident.
On the other hand, Police have arrested 15 suspected criminals during raids in Orangi Town. Heavy weapons were seized from their possession.
