Heat wave grips plain areas of the country

Maximum 45 degree centigrade temperature was recorded in Dadu city of Sindh.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Heat wave has gripped the plain areas of the country during last 24 hours.

Maximum 45 C temperature was recorded in Dadu while it remained 40C in Lahore, 40C in Multan, 39 in Faisalabad and 42C in Karachi.

Menwhile, maximum temperature recorded in other cities was Mitthi and Chaur 44C, Sibi, Rohri, Turbat and Lasbela 43C.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next two to three days.

The Met office also predicts increase in the intensity of heat.
