Six high-profile accused arrested in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore police have claimed to arrest six suspects allegedly involved in the killing of high-profile personalities and other criminal activities.
Addressing press conference in Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh, CCPO Lahore Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmed said that the special team arrested six accused in a period of three months.
The suspects have confessed to involvement in more than 18 killings and murder attempts on high-profile personalities including Shamsur Rehman, Shakir Ali Rizvi, Dr Syed Ali Haider, Khurram Raza Qadri, Allama Nasir Abbas, Asghar Nadeem Syed and Raza Rumi.
He said thorough investigation was underway while new revelations will made to public very soon.
