PM Nawaz, Interior Minister Ch Nisar meet to discuss Musharraf's travel issue
The government has placed Musharraf's name in the ECL.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan met here in Islamabad today (Monday) to discuss key issues, Dunya News reported.
Both discussed matter pertaining to former military ruler Pervez Musharraf’s travel abroad.
Musharraf, indicted today in the treason case, had requested the court to allow him to visit UAE to see his ailing mother.
It may be mentioned here that the Ministry of Interior has placed ex-president’s name on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The Interior Minister also briefed PM Nawaz regarding ongoing dialogue process with the Taliban.
They exchanged views on country’s law and order situation as well.
