Peshawar: Eighth stage of 'Sehat Ka Insaf' underway in KPK
The health campaign was introduced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf's government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The eighth stage of Sehat Ka Insaf campaign is underway in Peshawar amid tight security.
Around 700,000 children of 96 union councils will be inoculated against polio and nine other deadly diseases.
Meanwhile, holiday was earlier announced for all public primary schools while motorcycle riding has also been banned to avoid any untoward incident. According to official statement, the ban on riding motorcycle will remain effective till 5PM today.
Furthermore, tablets to filter drinking water will also be distributed in over 300,000 households in this stage.
Thousands of children are being vaccinated against the polio virus during the health campaign introduced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
