Protest rallies across the country by PPP and PML-N activist

Protest rallies were held across all the major cites of the country including Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Quetta and Hyderabad to show support to President Zardari by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) activist and workers. The protesters also set ablaze the effigy of Nawaz Sharif.A protest rally was organized by PPP women wing in Peshawar. The rally was led by Member of National Assembly (MNA) Asma Alamgir. Several PPP senators and other PPP MNA were also present during the rally. Asma said that the Presidential order on appointment of judges was in accordance with constitution and no movement against democracy would be accepted.PPP workers also held rally in Quetta which was lead by MNA Haji Ali Madad Jatak. Jatak said that the workers would sacrifice their blood to save Pakistan.A number of demonstration rallies were also held across the country to protest against the President and in favor of the decision of the court. The effigy of the President was also set on fire.During a protest in Multan the protesters chanted slogans against the government and demanded not to delay the appointment of judges to the apex court.Arial firing and ammunition was displayed during a rally in Sargodha when PPP and PML-N activist were head to head. PPP workers destroyed the camp of PML-N in Bahawalpur.
