Two FC personnel martyred in Peshawar blast

A suicide bomber blew himself up targeting a check post near Iran's Consulate at University Road.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least two Frontier Constabulary (FC) officials were martyred and three others were injured in a bomb blast targeting a check post near Iran’s Consulate here on Monday.
According to police, the one of the militants jumped out of a vehicle and blew himself up near the FC check post in University Town while the others opened firing after the blast.
The law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and the rescue teams rushed to the area. The injured were shifted to Khyber Teaching Hospital.
According to Dunya news, important offices and residences of important personalities are situated in this sensitive area.
Earlier, At least three bomb blasts hit different areas of Peshawar on Monday morning while no casualties were reported in the attacks.
According to details, explosives were planted outside the home of a resident in Phase-VII of Hayatabad area of Peshawar.
The area appeared tense and gripped by fear following the blast while windows of the nearby houses were shattered in the attack.
The second blast occurred in Afghan Colony while the third in Shahbaz Town. All of the blasts were planted outside homes of locals.
