Force will be used against militants: Govt

Majority of Taliban who want dialogue will not be disappointed, source close to govt said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has strategized to use ‘full state power’ against those who take up arms and commit acts of terror, Dunya News sources said on Thursday.
According to government sources, government will only hold peace negotiations with those who desire peace. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar will expose factors that sabotaged peace process in his press conference, the sources said.
The sources said that the dialogue process is not government’s weakness but is a part of strategy. The roots of terrorism will be cut and this genie will be put back in the bottle, the sources said.
The source close to government also claimed that the government knows everything about the whereabouts and backing of the militants adding that the majority of Taliban who desire peace and dialogue will not be disappointed.
Earlier, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jets bombed suspected Taliban hideouts in a northwestern tribal district, killing at least 40 alleged militants a day after the insurgents offered a ceasefire to resume troubled peace talks if the army stopped targeting them.
There are confirmed reports of 40 alleged militants including foreigners killed in these airstrikes, sources told Dunya News.
The attacks focused on the town of Mir Ali, Shawal and surrounding areas of North Waziristan.
