Suicide attack on police bus in Karachi, nine killed
More than 50 policeman were travelling in the bus.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - A suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a police bus, killing nine policemen and injuring 30 others, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
The attacker targeted the bus in Shah Latif Town as it left Razaqabad police training centre.
There were more than 50 police personnel in the bus at the time of the blast. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the incident.
The injured were taken to Jinnah Hospital and other local hospitals for medical assistance.
Rangers and police have reached the blast site and cordoned off the area.
