ECNEC approves projects worth Rs 324 billion
The committee approved ten development projects including Rs 254 billion for Jamshoro Power Project.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A meeting of Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) headed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held here on Wednesday.
The meeting approved ten development projects of social sector coasting more than three hundred and twenty-four billion rupees. The ECNEC approved Jamshoro Power Project worth Rs 254 billion.
Meanwhile, projects related to agriculture‚ education and training‚ health and nutrition‚ energy and water sectors were also approved in the meeting.
The amount allocated for the projects included, Rs 9.12 billion for development of agriculture sector in Sindh, Rs 22.85 billion for health workers and health services project, Rs 3.14 for teachers training program, Rs 4.5 billion for nutrition program in Sindh, Rs 4 billion for Quaid-e-Azam solar park project, Rs 17.30 for installation of distribution lines in Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO).
