Karachi: Two tortured bodies found in Malir
The bodies were found from Memon Goth area of Malir.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Two dead bodies of men bearing torture marks were recovered from Malir area of Karachi on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to police, the bodies were found from Memon Goth area of Malir and suggested that the victims were subjected to torture before being killed.
The deceased could not be identified until the last report was filed.
On the other hand, identities of two suspects killed in police encounter in Salar Goth area have been confirmed.
The criminals identified as Shah Muhajir and Arif Billa were Lyari gangsters, police said.
Two hand grenades were also recovered from their possession.
Karachi, the country’s largest city, has seen scores of gun attacks against security personnel in recent years, as well as high rates of political and other forms of targeted killings.
In 2013, more than 2,700 people were killed in the city of around 15 million people, with police coming under particular pressure.
