Karachi: MQM worker dies after alleged police torture
MQM worker Muhammad Adil died of injuries allegedly suffered during torture by police.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Muhammad Adil died at the Abbasi Shaaeed Hospital of of injuries allegedly suffered during torture by police.
MQM leader Asif Hasnain, while talking to media outside the hospital informed that Muhammad Adil was in charge of Sector 136, North Karachi.
Asif Hasnain said that Muhammad Adil was arrested by law enforcement agencies two days ago and was allegedly subjected to torture during custody. Also speaking on the occasion, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi informed that Adil was handed over to his family with severe head injuries. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds on early Tuesday morning.
