Karachi: Dozens held during Rangers' targeted action in Sultanabad

Law enforcement personnel were attacked in different parts of the city today.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – More than 20 suspects were held during Rangers’ targeted operation in Sultanabad area of Karachi today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.

Around 400 Rangers personnel took part in the operation.

Entry and exit points of the area were sealed and door to door search was conducted.

Earlier today, armed terrorists riding on a motorcycle opened fire on Rangers personnel in Mujahid Colony.

One of the attackers was killed in retaliation whereas other suspect managed to escape from the scene.

A gang was suspect identified as Kamran was killed in police encounter in Baldia Town.

On the other hand, two alleged terrorists Naimatullah and Nasiruddin were killed in clash with Rangers in Baldi Ittehad Town’s Shanti Nagar.

Separately, two people were killed in Surjani Town and Nazimabad areas.
