Rawalpindi: 39 suspects including 27 Afghan nationals arrested
Afghan nationals were booked under foreign act, a policeman said.
RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Rawalpindi police conducted search operation in different areas today (Monday) and arrested 39 suspects, Dunya News reported.
27 Afghanis were arrested for living in the country without any visa or permission, a police official said, adding that 13 motorcycles were also impounded, which did not carry any registration papers.
Cases were registered against them under the foreign act, he said.
The operation is being carried out following a suicide blast in R A Bazar last week in which at least 13 people including 8 soldiers were killed.
